Born 1969, Denmark. Radio host. Studied at the University of Bristol and University of Roskilde. Produced and directed numerous children's programmes for DR TV. Her entertaining short film "Fanny Farveløs"/"Penny Plain" (1997) is included in "Karla Kanin Bio"/"Bunny's Tales", a series of Danish feature films for children.
Arthy's feature film debut "Mirakel"/"Miracle" (2000) was awarded at festivals worldwide, and her second feature "Se til venstre, der er en Svensker"/"Old, New, Borrowed and Blue" (2003), adhering to the Dogme doctrine, received top awards in Los Angeles, Moscow and Karlovy Vary. Third feature film: "Aïcha", working title (December 2007).
